5. Exchange Policy
Tinch Jewels offers a flexible 7-Day Exchange Policy to ensure your selected piece perfectly
aligns with your style. Clients may exchange their purchase for alternative designs or store
credit under the following structured guidelines.
5.1 Eligibility Window
Exchange requests must be formally initiated within 7 calendar days of the confirmed delivery
date. Requests received after this period will automatically be processed under our Lifetime
Exchange (LTE) Policy.
5.2 Exchange Valuation & Store Credit

In-Stock Jewellery: Eligible for 100% store credit, less the reverse
shipping fee (calculated based on your regional location tier, as outlined in Section 2.2).
The issued store credit is valid for 365 days from the date of issuance.

Custom & Bespoke Jewellery: Eligible for exchange subject to the
deduction of the original making charges (as specified in the product's itemized price
breakdown sheet) and reverse shipping costs from the total invoice value.

Missing or Damaged Certifications: If the original laboratory grading
certificate is missing or damaged, a mandatory re-certification charge of ₹450 per carat
of diamond weight will be deducted from the final exchange value.
5.3 Engraving Remediation Charges

Laser Engraving Removal: A flat fee of ₹500 per piece will be charged
to buff, polish, and restore the metal surface.

CAD-Embedded Engravings: If the personalization was integrated directly
into the initial 3D design mold, a deduction of 2% to 5% of the total invoice value will
apply to account for the structural resetting and metal loss during remodeling.
5.4 Exchange Limitations & Frequency

First Exchange: Processed seamlessly under this premium 7-Day Exchange
Policy.

Subsequent Exchanges: Any secondary exchange request arising from the
same original order sequence will automatically be processed under our Lifetime Exchange
(LTE) Policy, applying standard lifetime valuation metrics.
5.5 General Terms of Compliance

Pristine Condition: The jewellery must be completely unworn, unaltered,
and free of any surface imperfections, enclosed in its original brand packaging.

Mandatory Documentation: The original retail invoice along with all
authentic laboratory grading certificates must be physically presented at the time of the
exchange.

Third-Party Alterations: Any piece that has been resized, engraved, or
modified by an unauthorized third-party jeweler is strictly ineligible for exchange under
this policy, and all post-sale brand coverages will be permanently voided.
